Turning Insight Into Instruction: Developing Teachers' Data Capacity

Take a deep dive into giving teachers the right combination of support, accountability, and structure to move beyond simple data collection and into powerful data use to maximize instruction. We'll explore practical leadership strategies for analyzing student data, identifying key pieces of information, and translating those insights into actionable, differentiated instructional plans. At the end of this session, you will be able to:
provide your teachers and teams the structures needed to make using data a regular habit
standardize your teachers' use of data with consistent language and protocols
leverage frameworks for moving from data collection to data action

Do You See What I See? Data Visualizing and Presentation for Clarity
December 11, 2025
Data describe what's happening. But your message isn't effectively delivered unless your audience can see the data illustrations in the story you're telling. This session will help you transform data into a clear narrative presentations by using compelling and meaningful visuals. At the end of this session, you will be able to:
Choose the right charts and graphs to visualize data in a meaningful way
Communicate your data-driven conclusions and leave space for data-inspired conversation
Consider your audience and strike a balance between communicating data and keeping your message clear

Developing Data Leaders in Your District
February 5, 2026
Leadership in any dimension is not something to do alone. Creating a data-reflexive school or district a strategic leadership plan for identifying, empowering, and growing data leaders within your organization. In this workshop you'll learn to:
Grow and distribute leadership across your staff who are ready to help lead
Develop and implement common data practices and protocols that will help your leaders be effective
Implement a cycle of work, learning, and reflection so that your leaders are continually supported

Using Data for Equity
April 2, 2026
We move towards equity when we can uncover and show hard truths about our school or district. This session provides a framework for using data as a lever to identify disparities in student outcomes, resources, and opportunities. In this session you'll learn to:
Ask poignant questions on behalf of marginalized voices
Analyze data through an equity lens to challenge biases and uncover inequities
Develop targeted strategies that ensure every student has what they need to succeed
Session 5
Speaking the Same Language: Using Data For Multilingual Learners
May 28, 2025
Multilingual learners (MLs) have a variety of unique instructional and wraparound needs. We'll explore what data sources best represent MLs' performance and perceptions, and learn how to capture and communicate a more complete picture of ML progress. In this session you'll learn to:
Use data from ML-specific and other sources to understand progress with language learning
Advocate for ML needs in general education classrooms
Ensure that MLs benefit equally as their native-speaking peers in your school or district's culture of effective data use
All sessions will require 48 hours notice is a registered attendee will not be attending.
Districts will be billed for their registered attendees unless prior notice of cancellation within 48 hours of the session.
